How Does It Work?
Chris and Mark Screens will professionally install, repair or replace your screens, windows, doors, roofs or enclosures.
Below is the normal customer-friendly process that we follow:
- It all starts with your free estimate. We come out and meet with you as soon as we possibly can.
- We do not have any sale’s people so you will meet with one of the owners Mark or Chris. Very often you will meet with both of us as we try to do as many estimates together as possible. Mark has an incredible vision to see how your enclosure is going to look and to find any possible problems in the very beginning. This way we can design your enclosure in ways that help correct any problem areas before your enclosure is engineered and built. Saving us time while saving you money and future aggravation from day one.
- After you except our quote we meet with you for contract signing. We bring the contract and a notice of commencement form. The notice of commencement (NOC) is a form required to be filed with the clerk of courts on any permit valued at $2,500.00 or more. This document allows us to call in our inspections. We receive the deposit check and all parties sign the contract.
- At this time we double check our measurements and within the next few days send a completed drawing to our Engineer. The Engineer takes two to three weeks to complete the final CAD engineered drawing we will then submit to the local building department. The time it takes for the building department will very from days to months depending upon the City or County.
Once the permit is approved and picked up, we have your enclosure laser measured and a final cut sheet is printed. At this point we schedule your build and installation as soon as possible or when you are ready. At the start of aluminum structure fabrication and install we receive the second payment. - The first few days of your new enclosure build is completed inside of our building and once done we have a large trailer and truck racks to load it onto for safe transport to your property. On the day we arrive at your property we unload your enclosure in sections, install screen and install your new structural gutter if one is being used.
- The next step is to raise your enclosure. Most enclosure installations take five business days to complete. Once complete we call in the final inspection. After the inspector signs off that the enclosure is complete, we receive the final payment.
From start to finish, customer service and satisfaction are our number one goals because we believe in repeat business.
